Developed in partnership with PPG’s Operating Committee in 2018 and launched globally in 2019, The PPG Way aims to enable, empower, and encourage each employee to embrace the core pillars of our company culture. It serves as a cultural roadmap for all employees as we collectively strive to protect and beautify the world.
We continued to drive The PPG Way in 2020 with manager-led sessions aimed at helping teams find meaningful ways to embed The PPG Way into their everyday work. We saw the outcome of our combined efforts in the annual employee engagement survey results, showing not only a continued increase in overall engagement, but marked improvement on all items tied to The PPG Way pillars, giving a clear indication that employees, at all levels, continue to live The PPG Way.
Especially in our current environment, engagement is truly a key to our growth and success. Results of our most recent global survey show improvement for the third consecutive year and that PPG is the most engaged it has ever been.
Because of our strategies, our resources, and our people, PPG will emerge from 2020 as a stronger company.
